How-to disable the DCOM service.
Instructions on how to disable the DCOM service in Windows 2000. The DCOM
service is the service that had recent security problems with the MS Blaster Worm that disabled thousand's of computers on the internet. These instructions allow you to disable the service, clean the virus, apply the microsoft patch, and re-enable
the service. It's easy as a check-box, really.
